Youth Arts in the Hunter for over 40 Years
Make Noise. Make Connections. Make Change.

Help Tantrum make a difference.

Tantrum takes a creative approach towards making a social impact. We provide space and meaningful opportunities for young people and emerging artists, especially those who stand to gain the most and would otherwise miss out. As a not-for-profit organisation, every dollar we receive goes towards funding and subsidising our programs so they’re accessible and impactful, underpinned by the fair employment of local professional artists and art workers without which Tantrum would cease to exist.

Every bit counts and all donations over $2 are tax-deductible.

Covers the cost of one young person to experience Opening Doors (our in-school program addressing domestic violence and sexting)

The standard ticket price for BIG projects like The Shake Up which we’re excited to offer FREE to the community

Provides mentoring opportunities with industry professionals for local emerging artists

Means training opportunities for our team to better support ALL young people

Towards film equipment for young people to express themselves in new ways (STEAM)

Provides a 1-Year Tantrum OPEN Workshop Scholarship for a young person experiencing genuine barriers to participation. If you are interested in supporting the Tantrum OPEN Workshop Scholarship Program, please get in touch.

Tantrum Youth Arts (Tantrum Theatre Co-operative LTD, ABN: 34636726597) is a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. We accept donations through the GiveNow platform.
