Dr Clare Twist (she/her) is a researcher, manager and educator.  She has a PhD and a Bachelor of Arts (Drama Hons) from the University of Newcastle. Clare has worked for local, state and federal government in arts and education consultancies, audience development and arts programming for children and young people. In the not-for-profit sector she has held roles in strategic planning and arts management. Most recently Clare was the Performing Arts Discipline Liaison and Lecturer in Performance at the University of Newcastle. Clare has published on cultural policy and the Australian theatre sector, professional arts partnerships in schools, collective impact approaches to young children starting school, and teaching devising and collaboration in contemporary performance making.
