Brief info
Hannah Armstrong (she/her) is a theatre maker and workshop facilitator. She graduated from CSU with a BComms in Theatre Media in 2019, and moved to Newcastle to kick-start her creative career shortly afterwards. Throughout her studies, Hannah participated in student mentorship activities and facilitated drama workshops at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre. Hannah co-wrote and directed “Good Mourning”, which toured to Sydney as part of the Blair Milan Touring Scholarship, after its run at CSU’s Sprung Festival of Creativity. Hannah went on to direct "Good Mourning" for a third time, produced by Tantrum as part of 2023 Civic Theatre season and New Annual. Hannah also co-directed "Party Party Boom Boom" in 2023 for Tantrum.
In 2022, Hannah was Assistant Director on Her Productions’ premiere season of Uncle Vanya at The LockUp. In 2024 she is working with Lingua Franca and Ang Collins on "The Blueberry Play" as Assistant Director and Stage Manager, which runs at Civic Theatre Playhouse in August.
