Drama + Performance Workshops
Our weekly afternoon workshops invite young people from diverse backgrounds with unique interests to come as they are. Some love drama and performance and want to pursue a professional career. Some consider themselves artistic in a different way while others don’t at all. Every young person stands to grow in confidence and creativity while having fun and making new friends at the same time.
Our workshops follow the school term (excluding the first week) and are available for young people aged between 5 and 21.
Term 4 2020:
In Term 4 2020, afternoon Drama + Performance Workshops will be delivered on-site at Tantrum.
On-Site Drama + Performance Workshops
Our incredible Workshop Facilitators are thrilled to welcome participants into our COVID-safe Studio space at Tantrum to have fun with performance, story-telling, improvising, writing, devising and design. With a focus on creativity, connectedness, resilience and making a difference, participants will build theatre and communication skills as vehicles for following their own curiosity and ideas. Register below.
Please Note: Tantrum will continue to follow and respond to government health advice at all times. In the instance that the Tantrum site is forced to close again, all workshops and activities will immediately move to online delivery. Responding to the financial hardship families may be experiencing, term fees for each on-site workshop continue to be subsidised. As such, no refunds or credits will be given except in the event of workshops being cancelled. We will continue to offer our Tantrum OPEN Scholarship program for young people facing disadvantage.
