Already know and love Tantrum?
Tantrum’s weekly afternoon workshops invite young people from diverse backgrounds with unique interests to come as they are. Some love drama and performance and want to pursue a professional career. Some consider themselves artistic in a different way while others don’t at all. Every young person stands to grow in confidence and creativity while having fun and making new friends at the same time!
As vehicles for following their own curiosity and ideas, participants will explore;
- drama
- performance
- theatre-making
- story-telling
- improvisation
- character development
- writing
- devising
- design
- plus much more!
Our experienced Workshop Facilitators are also practicing artists and respond to each groups’ interests and abilities to get the most out of each workshop. And with two facilitators in all workshops in Term 1*, we’re making sure that every young person receives additional support and encouragement.
With a focus on creativity, wellbeing and resilience, Tantrum’s afternoon workshops are designed to empower young people with the skills and confidence to solve problems, collaborate, trust in their strengths and make their voices heard.
* Where ratios are less than 1:4, there will be only one facilitator.
Tantrum Youth Arts is a child-safe environment.
