Attention early career artists! Are you working hard on an idea and are ready to get in front of the eyes and ears of producers? This practical, beginner-friendly workshop breaks down the pitching process step-by-step, so you can approach opportunities with confidence.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to find and set up pitching opportunities, what producers are actually listening for, and how to shape your idea into a clear, compelling pitch. You will unpack what to include (and what to leave out), how to talk about your work, and how to adapt your pitch for different contexts — from informal conversations to more formal presentations.
Designed for early-career artists with little or no pitching experience, this workshop is supportive, fun and practical. You will walk away with ideas and tools for pitching that you can use straight away, and a greater sense of confidence in your creative work.
